Hong Kong Disneyland shut down after typhoon destruction.

Disney Parks for many is an escape from reality where you can enter into a land of fantasy and magic. While most of the time this is true, the reality is bound to set in which forces us to deal with hard facts. Typhoon Mangkhut which hit both Hong Kong and the Philippines causes mass destruction in both areas including the Disney Park. The damage was severe enough that the park had to be closed down for repairs and maintenance work. This reality is something many have to think about when traveling to out of state and country parks because their weather and natural disasters are different from the ones that we are used to here in California. While the parks might possess a magic that magic cannot protect it from the natural disasters that occur around the world. I found this interesting because you also hear about these disasters around the world and while there are only two parks in Asia they also seem to do well when there are natural distractions that accrued there.
